UNC head coach Butch Davis has the added pressure of having Tar Heel football legend Lawrence Taylor at field level as well as current NFL star and former UNC great Julius Peppers to impress. The 2009 season saw Florida State start 0-3 in ACC play which made the win enormous for Bobby Bowden who has been the subject of much controversy concerning his future as head coach.
